I had a first web interview - successful with HR manager who was very nice and helpful. Second stage was challenge kind of Q&A, the given time to submit was 4 days. I spent more than 4 hours of my time doing it. I received an email that the task was accepted and an appointment for the second interview again via Skype! That time some employee (male) called me, he was 15 minutes late, said he was on a meeting. I was run out of time, but I decided to continue my interview. I was expected that it will be a dialog (as usual) between two professionals. However, I got the opposite one. This employee started to read me questions from a paper without any participation and interest. He was listening to my answers and then just read me the next question. Honestly, from the first question an expression on his faced demonstrated me that I won’t get the job. Have you ever had an interview when you know from the beginning that the result will be negative?! Actually, he made me feel like I am a beggar and asking him to give me a chance! No way! Of course, I made mistakes and provided not the best answers to him, but it is not the reason to make a candidate miserable! After interview was completed, he said, thank you, I will pass your answers to the head of department.. Sorry, but how could he possibly do it, if he did not write down any of it. My advice: do not spend on their task too much time, try to answer briefly, your research may go to a bin. On the interview do not expect any interest, just answer questions straightforward, do not expect any discussion. And good luck!
