I can only comment on as far as I got through the process, so here goes:
After my application was reviewed I was invited to to a cognitive aptitude test before speaking with anyone. Then I was invited to meet with a recruiter for a Skills Interview, where they deep dive into your skills and experience.
And then.... Nothing. Silence. Two weeks after the interview and after multiple attempts at chasing for feedback and an update, I still haven't heard anything back.
Such a a shame, because I had enjoyed the interview process and had a serious interest in joining Revolut.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Skills Interview, where they deep dive into your skills and experience.
They ask for examples of difficult scenarios you've been in whilst hiring and how you overcame them, things like tricky stakeholders, interview processes, strategies etc
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut (Perth, Western Australia) in Nov 2025
Interview
The process consists of 4-5 stages, which is standard, interviews might be a tad harder compared to other companies, but given that Revolut is top and growing fintech company, it is reasonable.
1. Cognitive test, 2nd stage - call with recruiter, 3rd and 4th stages are testing your recruitment skills and sourcing. 5th stage is bar raiser interview.
If you align with company's values and culture, and also come prepared for the interview knowing what company should look for, you should be fine.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During skills interview you are asked about metrics and achievements, your impact. During bar raiser interview they want to understand your mentality and your potential, as well as contributions and achievements (to define your seniority) in the past.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Revolut (Bucharest, Bucuresti) in Jun 2025
Interview
The recruiter was friendly and communicative, making the overall process smooth. However, the interview focused heavily on previous experience rather than transferable skills or potential. Much of the conversation centered on whether the candidate met very specific experience criteria, with less attention given to capabilities, adaptability, or growth potential.

Question 1
Unfortunately, they don't focus much on the candidate's skills or capabilities. They just follow a script and read questions from a sheet, and you're not really allowed to go off-topic or ask much else. I expected to take a test to demonstrate my skills, so I was shocked to receive negative feedback after just a 30-minute conversation with a recruiter. How can she possibly know me that well in such a short time?
