There were two rounds of interviews after initial discussion with the recruiter.
First Round-
It was with the CTO. It was pleasure ingeraction with him really nice guy and motivated. Round is nor technical but normal discussion about nature of work, embition, why you want to join? Candidates motivation etc.
Second Round:
It was technical round. But unfortunately not good for me. The interviewer belonged to HW domain maily and was more towards that expact. The questions were mainly of system and ecu development nature but not of SW development at all.
Like how do you decide about controller?
How you decide ram,memory etc points when choosing for controller and ensures this is sufficient?
Different HW interaction things?
Etc.
They cheched my resume, screened it multiple times, had one round of interview, they asked to have second interview round at 10:00 PM and then feedback was skill set not relevant for us.
Advise is that if you put wrong field interviewer for SW roles then skillset will never be relevant. If you will ask " whether you have worked on this? And this is not mentioned at all in candodates resume" then skill set will never met. After screening and having one round if you still expect that candidate has worked on something which is mentioned in resume than this shows how week your recruitment process as organization is.
Please screen resumes better and the ask relavant guys to conduct technical ingerviews. Otherwise you may have employees but not right employees at the right place.
