Interview
The interview processes was a total of 5 interviews. HR, Hiring Manager, Collaborator, In-Person, CEO. I did not make it through all the stages, however, all these stages lead to a month total. There was clear communication while you passed the stages, a bit of a pause as they were finalizing the offer with another candidate. They have improved their HR team since the previous interviews took place.
Interview questions [4]
Question 1
Tell me about your background and how it relates to the position.
After a strong, engaging interview with both the hiring manager and a senior scientist, I was unexpectedly ghosted—no follow-up, update, or even a formal rejection. Disappointing, especially since they came across as thoughtful, professional, and genuinely lovely people.

Interview
By far my most awkward interview ever! made me confident that the company doesn't know what they are doing... I was scheduled a 15 min interview with the CEO. The CEO was completely distracted and clearly did not know what he is talking about. He did not even introduce himself nor the company and just kept asking questions about my research for that role. He never let me ask any questions about the company/role and just mentioned they are interviewing a "bunch of people" to get ideas for the position. Very questionable overall..as if they wanted to see what I did during my research to get some ideas for the company's product. If you have other offers don't consider this company!
