I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Retina (Glasgow, Scotland) in Jun 2020
Interview
There are a few different interviews during the process - you start with the recruitment specialist at the agency who conducts a preliminary interview to discuss your current role, what you are looking for, what Retina is looking for, expectations (on both sides) and general suitability for the role. If they think you would be a good fit, you are sent a 'creative challenge' that you will be asked to complete (you are not expected to spend more than a few hours working on the challenge). You then move on to an interview with the head of the department you are interviewing for a role in and then the chief creative officer (or a joint interview with both). If they think you are a good fit and would like to consider you for the role, you have a final interview with the CEO.
Each interview is between 40-60 minutes long, conducted via Teams video call. You will be asked the normal range of questions (your current role and experience, what you are looking for in your new role, your portfolio), as well as some information on how you approached the creative challenge.
