Honestly the worst experience ever. This company is completely racist. Unless you are capable of speaking Cantonese and mandarin they will treat you like crap and disrespect you. I had applied in english through their ENGLISH job ad. I communicated with a girl in ENGLISH about setting up an interview date and location. Nowhere in between did they mention you need to know Chinese, not in the job ad or before the interview. Everything leading up the interview was communicated in ENGLISH. I go in and my interviewer was late-already off to a bad start. She arrived 15 minutes later and began the interview. She asked if I knew chinese I told her I know minimal Cantonese I am not the best at it I prefer to communicate in English. She insisted I do the interview in CANTONESE. Obviously, this interview did not go well because I couldn't articulate anything.
At the end, she decided to at my portfolio and said ok based on the interview and portfolio we will discuss it but as of right now ...(She shakes her head). I wish I had walked out the minute she insisted I conduct the interview in Cantonese this was a violation of my rights.
I would suggest to anyone looking for a job here to run far away. If they are willing to treat a candidate like this I can't even imagine how they treat their employees.
