Phone screen with HR, on-site with Operations Manager, then 2nd phone interview with area General Manager. Standard questions overall, with a site visit. General Manager asked what year I graduate from college, immediately, to determine my age. It was uncomfortable and changed the direction of the Interview, not in a good way. Was told that I would personally know my candidacy status in 24 hrs; did not hear anything until an auto-rejection email arrived 7 days later. Sad, unprofessional, and ageist, especially after being told that I was a top candidate.

Like a cog in the machine, robotic and fast. Recruiter reached out for phone screen but I felt like I was just 16th out of 33 that needed to be done that day. Not personable, spoke very fast and didn’t answer any of my questions rather just gave a left field response. Any indication leans toward this company being largely disconnected. No follow up email, and was ghosted.
