I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Republic Services (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2019
Interview
Phone screen with HR, on-site with Operations Manager, then 2nd phone interview with area General Manager. Standard questions overall, with a site visit.
General Manager asked what year I graduate from college, immediately, to determine my age. It was uncomfortable and changed the direction of the Interview, not in a good way. Was told that I would personally know my candidacy status in 24 hrs; did not hear anything until an auto-rejection email arrived 7 days later. Sad, unprofessional, and ageist, especially after being told that I was a top candidate.
Like a cog in the machine, robotic and fast. Recruiter reached out for phone screen but I felt like I was just 16th out of 33 that needed to be done that day. Not personable, spoke very fast and didn’t answer any of my questions rather just gave a left field response. Any indication leans toward this company being largely disconnected. No follow up email, and was ghosted.

Interview
First did a very short phone interview. Then was scheduled for an in person interview with the Operations Manager. In the interview I was told that since I didn't have experience in the trash business that I would be looking at several more interviews. About a month later I received word that I was not selected for future interviews.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Republic Services (Florida City, FL) in Jan 2022
Interview
Multiple rounds of interviews with multiple people. When going through the process it looks like, Recruiter, Area Manager, Safety Manager, HR Manager, General Manager. Interview questions were all the same and seemed to be a repetitive process.
