      Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Interview

      11 Jun 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ren in Apr 2025

      Interview

Over the course of 2 months I had an initial phone screen followed by 6 online interviews with various department leads, execs and the CEO. They asked me to complete a Kolbe assessment which I did as well. For 3 weeks after the CEO interview, I heard nothing from them. I politely followed up multiple times with the recruiter and the CEO (hiring manager for this role), asking them to share a timeline for making a decision. Crickets. Finally the recuiter responded to confirm that they had moved on with other candidates. I have no problem with that decision, but the lack of communication after getting quite far in the process was unprofessional at best.
