I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Reinventing Geospatial in Jun 2017
Interview
Phone screen, phone screen with dev. Phone screen with dev did not have technical questions. Didn't proceed further, as it turned out I was not aligned well to the purposes of the company.

Question 1
What things do you do to keep your skills current?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Reinventing Geospatial (Fairfax, VA) in Jan 2018
Interview
Applied for the position online. Got a response and offer for an interview soon after, but since I lived out-of-state we conducted the interview via a video-call through Google Hangouts.
Interview was fairly standard; they asked me technical questions about Java, then we moved on to a coding section. First couple questions were pretty easy, but it ramped up a bit near the end.
Things wrapped up pretty neatly after that with some more explanations about the company and some typical closing remarks.

Question 1
They asked about Java's inheritance feature and interfaces.
Met with 3 team members and spoke of the experience on my resume. Proceeded with a series of questions that detailed every single technology listed on said resume and also answered some basic and intermediate level developer questions. One of the 3 team members already knew the answer to a concept that I mentioned he didn't know the answer to with a sarcastic yet sheepish grin. He was a senior level team member and obviously enjoyed feeling of messing with people and letting people know he was the smartest in the room. Right then and there, I made up my mind about working here.
