During the initial HR screening there was a technical test with 10 questions. Some of the questions where general javascript questions that every senior frontend engineer should be able to answer, but some of the questions where not framework agnostic, but very much related to the Vue.js 3 framework, including routing, composables and state management. The reason why I find this very dishonest and upsetting, is that on the company FAQ site there is a pragraph that explicitly sais the following (copy and pasting it): "You don't have to prepare anything. Make sure to read the job description carefully and inform yourself about our company. Feel free to check out our social media platforms as well. Other than that, be authentic and yourself - we want to get to know you and your personality!" I find this to be very misleading. I had quite a bit of experience with Vue.js 2 from before, but I did not make the effort to brush up on Vue.js 3 or anyting related to it, so the syntax was quite unfamiliar to me. I firmly believe that after spending an afternoon reading up on what's new / different, I would have been competent and confident in the Vue.js 3 syntax as well.
