We understand that interviewing can be a big investment in time and energy, and we’re always open to receiving feedback to improve our candidate experience and ensure we’re providing a positive experience whether you interview directly with our team or with one of our trusted partners.
For some entry-level sales roles, for the past 6 years, we have worked with our third-party agency, Phoenix51 (in the UK), to recruit candidates, focusing on core skills and aptitude, rather than purely experience listed on your resume. While this interview process allows us to find a talented and diverse group of candidates, it is competitive and different from our usual interview format.
The Phoenix51 team has reviewed nearly 1000 applications for a handful of openings. This is no small task and to ensure that they are able to review every application, they do employ the use of a video recording as an initial step in the interview process prior to speaking directly with a team member. As their team is based in the United Kingdom, where Redgate Software is also headquartered, they have a very thorough understanding and robust context of "American culture".
It is true that the solutions we provide are quite technical which could perhaps be intimidating for those that do not have a technical background. However, we do not require the majority of our commercial roles to have prior technical experience. We take pride in providing thorough technical training to all our commercial new starters as well as our ability to equip our employees with the necessary information and skills to not just be confident in their roles but to grow their careers.
