I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Red Hat (Raleigh, NC) in Jan 2022
Interview
HR Rep reached out for a screening. That went well so then they set up an interview with the hiring manager the following week. That went well but they needed to make some internal adjustments so it was quiet for a few weeks. HR then set up interviews with various team members. That went well too and now just waiting to hear. No communication from HR on where they are on a decision.

Question 1
Most of the interviews were dynamic and evolved based on my experience, resume, and the conversation. One of the interviewers had set questions like 'tell me about a situation where you had to handle diversity and dissention among the team'.
Very methodic approach, great interview panel and calibration process, consistent communication by the HR team, and thoughtful interview questions, great blend of situational questions and passion/personality questions - entire process took about 2 months.

Question 1
What makes you the best candidate for this role over other people we are speaking with?
Exactly as outlined in RedHat's hiring website. The recruiter was very knowledgeable of the process. Initial interview was with Technical resource. Final interview was with hiring manager and technical colleague.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Red Hat (London, England) in Mar 2023
Interview
The interview process was an initial screening call with a recruiter, which is 30mins, then a technical interview with a senior team member, which goes on for a 1hr, then a panel interview with the consulting team leaders, which goes out for and 1hr 20mins.
I got an email about three days after they moved me from a Senior Consultant to a Consultant. Unfortunately, they wouldn't entertain the original benefits we discussed during the screening call. It wasn't very reassuring for a big company such as Red Hat, so I declined the offer and moved on with my day.
