I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Red Bull (Santa Monica, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
The process was a hot mess and revealed the toxicity of their work culture. Interviewers blatantly told me they hadn’t even looked at my resume at the beginning of my interview. They hadn’t prepared any questions ahead of time and it was extremely awkward to interview with them. When they asked questions, they came across extremely condescending - so much so that I actually felt borderline bullied (yes, I kid you not) at some points during the interview process. Not sure if this was some “interview tactic” or whatnot, but regardless, it was extremely unprofessional and a huge turn-off. The case study they assign you is a big fat waste of time, and honestly was a red flag my mentors tried warning me about, which is originally designed to weed out new college graduates. Although I had many years of prior job experience, and already had 4 interviews with them prior, they made me do it anyways. Don’t get me started on presenting your ridiculous case study to them - they will try and poke holes in your entire presentation to, again, only what one could assume is an interview tactic for the insecure and socially-inept, make themselves feel good in front of their bosses in the room. If this is how you’re treated during the interview process , I can only imagine how you’d be treated working there. Thanks but no thanks.
Initial wingfinder assessment, hirevue video interview that was online and then a case study presentation to meet with the team and hiring manager. Didn’t hear back after that last interview
Successful video interviews require thorough preparation, clear communication, and confident delivery. Candidates should maintain eye contact, use structured answers (such as the STAR method), and share concise stories that highlight achievements. Enthusiasm, professionalism, and authenticity build trust, while adaptability and active listening demonstrate collaboration skills. Managing time, ensuring a reliable technical setup, and showing resilience under pressure are also essential. A positive attitude, growth mindset, and timely follow-up leave a lasting impression.

Interview
Few rounds of phone calls and Zoom interviews. The last round involved creating an Excel dashboard that you presented with an option to come in person or over Zoom. The dashboard was pretty straightforward. The in-person office was great. Enjoyed all the people, but felt as though they were in a rush to get through the final interview the moment I got there. I believe they had a rooftop event afterward that they were looking forward to attending.
