      Software QA Engineer Interview

      18 May 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Phoenix, AZ
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ready Logistics (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2018

      Interview

While the recruiter who set up the interview was very professional, prompt and knowledgeable, the interview itself was very disappointing. I had been talking to the person conducting the interview for about 15 minutes, and everything was going great. That was, until I mentioned that I was an immigrant. As soon as I finished the sentence, his attitude completely changed, and he said that he didn’t think I had enough experience for the job. I have been through enough interviews, and in my eight years of working in IT, and not once have I ever been treated with such blatant discrimination. It was rude, and unprofessional, to say the least. I wouldn’t work for someone like that, even if I were offered a job with this company.
