I applied online. I interviewed at Rapid Electronics (Colchester, England)
Interview
It was alright, normal questions asked, the more details you can add regarding your skills is the better. Include your strengths and how you can add value to the company. Had one phone interview and one face to face.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about yourself, what strengths you have and how those would benefit the company
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rapid Electronics (Colchester, England) in Sept 2020
Interview
Ask you question like whats your dream job and if you were a biscuit what would you be
Friendly people but minimum pay and only progress people who worked in trade counter
It would seem this is an old review. We only interview using a Values Based Interview and a Competency Based Interview. We have not had a trade counter since 2020 and give equal development opportunities to all. We pay above NLW with excellent benefits. We also do not have 'Warehousemen' jobs as this would be discriminatory.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Rapid Electronics (Colchester, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
Two stage process, first was a virtual interview with the MD who was also the hiring manager. The second stage was a panel interview including a 30 minute presentation. However the panel was not consistent for all candidates. There were four panellists missing for my interview. The presentation topic was vague and the process for the second stage could have been communicated more clearly which could have improved the overall experience for both the candidates and Rapid. The interview was very thorough and panellist were very professional whilst also being very personable. I would have accepted the position had I been successful and would certainly apply for suitable future roles.
