Long- spoke to many people including the CEO who asked questions that are illegal such as marital status. He even commented on how he isn't supposed to ask those things but does it regardless.

Largely informal - I interacted with one of the principals previously & they needed people. I filled out an application, spoke w/ my contact & the CEO, discussed salary and starting date. They provided an offer letter within a few days.

CEO asked me a few questions during the interview which I knew were illegal (marital status, future family plans). I should have listened to my gut and immediately declined. I don't believe he didn't know that those questions are not allowed. If he is that contemptuous (i.e. - he knew the questions were illegal & also he would get away w/ it) during the interview, what else do you imagine he is capable of?

3 people sat in the interview -I was scheduled with the hiring manager and after preparing, ironing a suit, polishing shoes, researching the company, driving 40 minutes to the location, the hiring manager did not even show up for the interview - they wasted my time - wanted to walk out - would not have accepted if offered
