Talked with recruiter. Got an on site interview, with poor on site contact information. Couldn't make contact with the on-site person to interview with. Called and emailed Ramsoft and couldn't get any one. On site guard figured out who the person I would interview with and called them. Did the interview. Client liked me. Got email/oral job acceptance from recruiter. Which I accepted. About a week later got an acceptance letter, with salary confirmation, and no start date.Then contingency clauses started popping up. Ramsoft background, drug screen and employment agreement. Lot's of paperwork. No start date nor out line of process. After passing Ramsoft background and drug screen. There is the client's background check. No start date. Heard on the client side 'don't give you're two week notice yet', i.e. implying a long approval process. So after about 6 weeks of back and forth, poor communication, and a week after accepting another position. I get a call saying I can start next week, and the position has change from a straight contract to a contract to hire. If I had known I could have waited a couple of weeks more. Also the position I accepted was only a two month contract and I told them I would be available in two months. However given the communication, where you ask a question to one person and one or more other people respond with different information. It's hard to know what's correct or even would has the authority. I felt mislead, lied to.

P.S. Have you read their employment agreement. Ask for that first, then see if you want to work with them.
