I had high hopes when I first applied to Raft, given their positive reputation in the industry. The initial engagement was promising, with two rounds of interviews lasting an hour each, where I felt I was able to showcase my skills and experience effectively. The day after my final interview, I received positive feedback, which further raised my expectations for a swift and favorable outcome.
However, my experience took a disappointing turn as the weeks turned into months with no definitive communication from the company. After more than Two months of waiting, I was finally informed that the decision was still pending due to the company awaiting approval for a federal contract. This lack of transparency and prolonged uncertainty has been disheartening.
I understand that external factors can influence hiring timelines, but I believe candidates deserve clear and timely communication, especially when significant delays arise. It's disappointing to have invested so much time and effort in preparing for interviews, only to be left in limbo for an extended period. I hope Raft can improve their communication and recruitment process to ensure that candidates have a clearer understanding of potential delays and are not left waiting indefinitely.
