In total there were there rounds of interviews. None of the processes was intense. simple generic questions about my experiences in finance background and how well I worked within the group.

Interview
A prolonged interview process for a seemingly straight forward role. Started with a phone screening with a hiring manager, then a video interview with a peer analyst and another hiring manager. Followed with a face to face interviewing with all 3 team members again and the director. Then an additional video interview with another hiring manager.

Tell me about a time you received push back at a job and how you handled it.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RTI International (Durham, NC) in May 2019
Interview
Phone screen followed by an two rounds (in the same day) of in person interviews. One was with the hiring manager and their equals, the second was with peers/equal level FAs.
Throughout the process the hiring manager was relatively responsive and receptive to questions and follow up. During the interview, the direct hiring manager seemed a little bit distracted while their equals seemed very engaged and asked a lot of questions while providing good feedback/
Overall, it was an average experience. I was not extended an offer but the hiring manager did notify me of their decision, albeit a bit later than he verbally committed to.
