Firstly there was situational/numerical test, not timed, and it was very easy. Then a video interview and they asked 5 questions which you should definitely look up before. Next was the assessment centre, I was told to write a page summary about tax and brexit. I presented this online with 2 interviewers, and they asked me questions about it (took about 10 mins), had a 15 min break then came back to do a strength based interview. My tip is to get your point across & be concise because if you don’t give the answer they want you won’t get through.

After standard psychometric tests you will proceed to an online assessment centre if there is enough space - I.e the position has not been filled by the time you are contacted, and indeed the assessment centres themselves have a capacity. The online assessment centre is rather thorough in the 4-5 tasks throughout the day. You will be tested on your ability to comprehend large amounts of textual information and corresponding facts and figures and provide recommendation and justification, verbally and repeatedly: you will be challenged on your decisions. Another task sees you work with another attendee, alongside a task making timetabling decisions. You also have an interview with 2 panelists. There is one more task I am forgetting but in reality I passed this without being spoon fed and if you’re worth your salt then you shouldn’t be fazed by anything. If you’re successful, a considerable time later you will be told you have passed and could be proceeded to the final stage. Again this is dependent on whether the job has been given away yet and also specific slots’ availability. The final stage comprises of a final interview and an office tour. If you are unsuccessful you will not hear back and will have to email with the sincere hope you will receive a response, as I did.
