I applied and about two weeks later they reached out to me via text to set up a Zoom interview. The zoom interview was simple just asked about me and told me more about the position and the person I talked to told me he'd get back to me Wednesday to set up an interview with their Software dev, the only one on their team at the time. I would have to choose a coffee shop and he'd meet me there for an hour. Wednesday came and I didn't hear anything back so I just moved on. After that they guy texts me on Monday asking me if could call for a bit to chat about the position, I agree. Wait all day and never receive a call. He texts me later that night saying he forgot and says tomorrow. Red flag. The call was to basically tell me they had given it to someone else and they'd consider me in a couple of months. Could of been an email/text. It's rude to call people with rejection news. He said he'd set up an interview that week or the next but I never heard anything after that. Red flags: they pay salary despite you working 50-70 hour work weeks they call it grind or hustler culture. Salary can be as low as 50-70k for this role. Communication was poor the entire time. Recruiter basically forgot about me at the end. And forgot scheduled calls. Process seemed disorganized because they hired someone without seeing other candidates. From this alone this isn't a good place to work especially if it's this disorganized from the outside.
