I was referred to the company by an employee. I applied online, then went in to speak with a manager. A couple days later, I completed a phone interview with our "HR" gal who then approved me to come in for a formal interview. I got to the interview and was first asked a couple questions 1:1. And then, I moved over to another room with a 2:1 that I later found to be a manager and another current employee. We had a great discussion. They gave certain customer service scenarios and asked how I would handle them.

The first portion was a group interview with myself and 11 others. There were 4 REI staff running the interview and asking questions. After a break, we met individually with a manager to talk about our personal knowledge and skills.
