Many weeks after I submitted my resume, the HR manager contacted me for a Zoom call. It was an easy interview and he barely asked any questions. A lot of time was given for me to ask him questions, so I indicated my interest for a summer internship, and he said that they're definitely open to it, although they seemed more keen on finding a part-timer who could start immediately. I was told that I'd meet with their technical personnel next week for a follow-up interview. I emailed him with my part-time availability (which was limited, since I'm a student), but it did not fit their requirements. Asked about the summer internship again and received no reply. Disappointed as the HR could have told me from the start if they were not looking for summer interns.
