Hiring process lasted 2 weeks. It consisted of call screening round upon resume shortlisting (20 mins), design task (3days), final interview (1 to 1.5 hours). The questions asked were fairly easy to answer if you had the correct knowledge. The interviewer asked questions which required theoretical design knowledge and i didn't have that. I don't know if he was aware that i didn't come from a formal design education background i had cleared the call screening and design task rounds but couldn't with final interview due to his questions. If i had the design theory knowledge I would've cleared the round too. Note to interviewers: If you're hiring for an intern role, please take the candidate’s background into consideration and ask questions based around it. For example you simply just can’t expect technical design answers from a candidate with non technical background (I am from tech background). Imperfect candidates can become perfect employees when given a chance and guiding them by taking their responsibility. That’s the purpose of being a manager/leader.
