I interviewed at Quality Assurance Services (Cairo, Cairo Governorate)
Interview
interview process was thorough but lengthy, taking about four weeks from application to offer. It started with a quick HR screening, followed by a challenging yet fair technical assessment (HackerRank-style coding and system design MCQs). The next rounds included two technical interviews—one focused on live coding and another on system design—both with helpful interviewers. A behavioral round with a senior manager felt conversational and gave good insight into company culture. While the process was well-structured, some delays in scheduling and a lack of salary negotiation flexibility were minor drawbacks. Overall, it was a positive experience with clear communication, though preparation for coding and system design is a must.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Quality Assurance Services (Denver, CO) in Apr 2011
Interview
The job only had one interview and it was over the phone. It was obvious he was interviewing multiple people. He asked about my schooling background, about gaps in my résumé, about the kind of art projects I did for fun. We spoke about photography and about canvas stretching and book binding. Having experience in multiple facets is why I think I got the job. At the interview he told me he thought it went really well but that he would email me with his final decision.
