Looks like the hiring system is broken somewhere.The interview/hiring method isn't objective and doesn't seem re-calibrated for a long time. Don't expect the HR to be present at site to usher you and get back on the outcome.

The hiring manager's body language was defensive- hardly made eye contact from the time the interview stared.Had enough clues for me to interpret i wouldn't make it.
