      HR Manager Interview

      14 May 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Fort Lauderdale, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Q-Med (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

      Interview

The process started off well. Applied for the HR Manager position. Professional correspondence leading up to the interview. No response to any email post interview. Interview went well until the CEO tried to ask my age multiple times. One time laughed and said, “I know I am not supposed to ask you age…but how old are you?” He also tried to ask my marital status. As an HR professional, I could not believe what I was witnessing. They should consider themselves lucky that no one is filing a claim with the EEOC. I researched the company and found that the HR Manager position is vacant roughly every 2-3 years for the last 15 years. Good luck to the person who ended up with the job.
