I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (Champaign, IL) in Nov 2011
Interview
I went through two rounds of interviews: one with a partner on campus and second interview was in the Chicago office with a manager, partner, and a senior panel. Once you get an offer for a second interview, the chances of getting the full-time offer or internship offer is very high. Unless you were awkward and was unable to connect with the interviewers or express genuine interest, it is difficult to blow the second round interview. The recruiting and interview process was very well organized and the campus recruiters were very responsive and supportive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All of the questions were around behavioral questions around juggling multiple projects/obligations and how to prioritize them. The interviewers also asked behavioral questions around how the candidate dealt with information overload, handling difficult people/teams, and discuss examples of leading an organization, etc. The point is to prove to the recruiting team that you can handle the stress and professional environment in a Big 4 firm.
