I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2011
Interview
2 phone and 4 in person interviews, they will ask you some very basic questions about accounting for any position as its auditing firm. Overall interview process is simple and questions are easy.
There were three interviews: with Senior Associate, he asked professional questions. The second one is with Executive director, it was just a small talk, for 15 minutes. In the end he told me to wait for an offer. The third interview was with Partner. It was divided into two parts: professional questions and personal motivation.
It was a walk-in interview, two senior partners interviewed me for the role of assurance, the interview continued for an hour and I was asked around 15-20 questions to check my technical knowledge. The overall experience was good.

Question 1
If at a later stage in the audit, you realized that the materiality level has changed, will you perform the audit procedures retrospectively or prospectively to incorporate the changes in the level of materiality?
I applied through university. I interviewed at PwC (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2019
Interview
The process was virtual, with multiple round interviews. In my case, PwC came to my university where students had the opportunity to meet the firm professionals before deciding if they want to continue with the interview process.
