The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PwC (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2011
Interview
2 rounds of interview for Big Four undergrad-level internships. The first one is at your school. The second one is in the office that you want to intern at - and this is usually a 7-hour ordeal. Before the second interview, you must go to a pre-interview dinner also.
I would say PwC is very proud of it's #1 position in the market (in terms of revenue and how many of the Fortune 500 companies they audit).
The HR/recruiting department is frustrating to work with (at least for SF's PwC). They don't answer your emails. For the SF office, the best recruiting is definitely Ernst & Young.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at PwC
Interview
the PwC Risk Assurance interview process is designed to assess how well you fit with the company's values and culture. You'll likely encounter behavioral questions that focus on how you approach challenges, collaborate with others, and handle pressure. The interviewers may ask about specific experiences you've had working in teams, solving complex problems, and your ability to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. They want to understand how you handle situations both on your own and within a team, ensuring you can contribute positively to their collaborative, fast-paced work environment. Additionally, your passion for risk assurance and eagerness to learn and grow in the field will be key aspects they evaluate.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PwC in Feb 2025
