The process was surprisingly smooth and personable. I always thought that since it is a Big 4 company that interviews with them would be very intimidating, but they were genuinely so nice. After initially receiving an automated rejection, I was later contacted by HR for an interview invitation, which was a nice surprise and showed they review applications beyond the automated filters.
The interview was conducted by two people. Instead of a rigid competency-based interview, it was a discussion-style conversation. They emphasised early on that they preferred to get a sense of how I think, communicate, and approach problems, rather than hearing rehearsed STAR answers. Of course, this was just MY experience.
