Asked what I knew about the company. Interviewer was impressed I knew the founder and when it was founded. The interview was very easy and no prior work experience was needed.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Publix (Greenville, SC) in Aug 2014
Interview
I applied on the in store application booth (only way to apply) and got a call about 2 weeks later. When I got there for the interview, the manager asked me maybe 2 questions and then offered me a job on the spot and I accepted. The interview lasts all of maybe 10 minutes.

Question 1
What do you think about the practice of taking out groceries for our customers?
Really was easy. Basically the only question asked was why I wanted to work there. I basically just said because I’ve always enjoyed going to Publix growing up and seeing all the employees with a smile made me know it was a good place to work.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Publix (Rolesville, NC) in Apr 2025
Interview
I applied online and I showed up at the job fair in both March to learn about the company and April to actually do my interview. It was for a new store they are opening in Rolesville.
