Interview with line manager and colleague, followed by second interview with department manager and different colleague. Recruiter sent me the wrong job spec before the first interview. So although I was there for the correct job, the line manager questioned whether we should terminate the interview immediately when they saw I had the wrong job spec in front of me, despite my assurances that I was there for the correct role and it was just the recruiters error. I found this very distracting and quite a negative way to start the conversation. I pulled it around after we started discussing my CV in detail. The second interview was exactly the same as the first in format - two people asking me CV questions. I was surprised by this as it seemed quite an outdated way of selecting candidates. It was basically a repeat of the first interview. Shortly afterwards I was offered the role and I accepted.
