I didn't get the impression that they were on the same page. My first round of interviews went quite well; they were inviting and open to questions. The second round was more accusatory and frankly, the opposite of the previous round. Sadly with the promise of a third round, I never heard a peep. Months later, I heard there was some turnover but not really an excuse for ghosting a candidate.
