Informational interview with the hiring manager. Asked about experience with agile and scrum, as well as modeling. General informational interview in which he asked about my background and experience, my skillset, and other generic questions.

Interview
First, I Applied online.
Then, I had a phone call with the Recruiter.
Then, I had a Zoom with the Hiring Manager (who wasn't technically a manager, but the lone QA resource at the company).
Then, I had a "Virtual Onsite" type of experience, where I had interviews with 5 individual team members.
The only real hiccup, was that I ended up getting scheduled for the team interviews twice. The first round was canceled because the company's leadership decided to pull the job req until after their new Head of Product started. But then I guess they changed their minds and decided to open it back up again, maybe a week later.
Aside from that weirdness, the process was smooth. The recruiter was especially helpful the entire way through. The entire team seemed really great. Had I not received an offer from another company that was better for me at this point in my career, I think I could've been very happy at Proxy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked a lot of the usual questions about my previous experience, how I work with others, etc.

Interview
I had a call with a recruiter that went well but resulted in never hearing from him again. The recruiter talked about himself a lot and how he had been responsible for the growth of companies where one went public and one preparing to, which was in no way relevant to the role. He asked general questions about my background and mentioned that they usually only hire from top MBA programs but he would make an exception for me (this was strange). We discussed that he would push me through and went over what the process was like. After our call I never heard from him again despite sending multiple emails in attempt to close the loop. Even if they had changed their minds about me or the role, I would have expected the courtesy of letting me know either way, especially after my many attempts to follow up. Very poor experience overall.
