I applied through university. I interviewed at Protiviti (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2020
Interview
First talked to a recruiter at my college's career fair. Fairly good conversation and then I applied on handshake and internally. The first and only formal round of interviews was a case study followed by a behavioral interview, each about half an hour long. They send you the case study a day before hand, but most of the information is given the time of the interview.

Question 1
Please describe a time where you had to work on a difficult team. How did you get through it? What did you learn?
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Protiviti (Austin, TX) in Mar 2018
Interview
The interview was mainly behavioral, with a flowchart. Since Protiviti's main revenue driver is audit, they want you to think with a risk-based approach. They want you to identify areas of risk, and ways you can think of to mitigate such risk.
