I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Procurify (Richmond, BC) in Oct 2016
Interview
I Learned about the job while networking at an event. I was freelancing at the time and wasn't looking for a full time gig. The people I met at the event seemed cool so I sent over my cover letter and resume.
I got a callback the next day to set up a Skype interview with a couple members from the front end development team. The interview consisted of getting to know me a bit better, as well as discussing a few abstract concepts. Got a message the next morning asking when I'd like to come in for an in person interview.
Came in and met with the same dev team members from the Skype call and had a more in depth conversation. The interview wasn't one sided at all, where they would ask the questions and I'd answer them. It went back and forth between everyone in the room making it feel more like a dialogue. I even learned some things. It was refreshing being around people who shared my passion to grow which lead to me accepting the offer.
