This position requires a 4 step interview process:
1. 15 min phone screening 2. 1 hour technical interview 3. Technical Excel Exam 4. Final In person interview
I got to the second stage and found it difficult with the sheer amount of technical questions. I was also surprised because usually preliminary interviews aren't this lengthy or intense. Interviewers would take your answers to technical questions and dig further with follow up questions for more details. I can appreciate though that the company is really trying to find the right fit for the role.
However, all my initial positive feelings about this company came to an end when I essentially got ghosted after this interview. There wasn't even a follow up email to let me know the status of my application. Just zero response from the company at all. I can understand if they felt I wasn't the right person for the role, but at least have the basic professional courtesy to let me know. As much as interviewers value their own time, job applicants also put in a lot of time and effort into the interview process. We are equally deserving of basic respect.
Suffice to say, I find it very telling about the company's attitude and I am disappointed that I wasted my time here.
