Very informal, sat in the bar and was asked a few typical interview questions by the Deputy Hotel Manager. Lasted around 20 minutes and was very straightforward. Asked examples of situations from previous jobs and talked about availability and progress etc

Interview
On the last September 2021 Premier Inn arranged an Open Recruitment Day Event where I should book an appointment for interview in that specific day. Then I went to the appointment, I had to register my name and surname and writing what kind of role I would like to do within the company. After that I waited few minutes for an interview . The interview was really short.

Question 1
Easy questions:
What kind of jobs did you do in the past?
Why would you like to work for Premier Inn?
Interview was relaxed and simple with the manager just explaining training and opportunities that will be available. Was told that no matter if I got the job or not, if be informed by the next week.
However, nearly a month later and there has been no correspondence in the slightest. As much as I understand that those who work in hospitality industry are extremely busy especially in times like these, a month is too long to heart back is too long.
Luckily for me, I don’t have anyone depending on me nor am I desperate for money but I imagine this treatment to someone more in need would be extremely annoying.
