I applied on LinkedIn and was called by the recruiter to review my background. After speaking for 20 minutes, he let me know the next step would be for the manager to review my resume. The manager did not want to meet with me because I did not have experience in this industry, but that would have been clear by looking at my resume from the very beginning… so why waste my time with an initial interview?
