Initially contacted by someone in the HR department about an HR position and said they would have a recruiter reach out for a phone interview. The recruiter was quick to get off the phone, as if he was only doing this interview because he was forced to, and didn’t even allow me to ask any questions. He was very quick to get off the phone and it was pretty bizarre. You would think since someone who is hiring for that role reached out to me shows I have the skillset they’re looking for in the role and the conversation was so short, there is no way the recruiter could have ruled out being a culture fit.
