I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Power Design in Jul 2021
Interview
Covid interview, so the process was virtual. Interviewed with a senior vice president and recruiting manager first thing in the morning. The first half of the interview was about my previous work experience and internships, then the second half was about personality and extracurriculars to see if I'd be a great fit with the company. Got a phone call at noon with an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In your past work experiences, what was the largest contract value of the project you were a part of and what were your roles and responsibilities?
Several online and phone interviews that culminated in neither the interviewers or the hiring managers contacting me. It was a laborious process that only ended once I reached out a third time for some closure.

Question 1
Would you rather be doing engineering or be a project engineer?
I interviewed at Power Design (Saint Petersburg, FL)
Interview
Very structured, straight-lined process. No time wasted, Power Design is one of the few companies that knows exactly what they're looking for. Interviewed with two persons and got the job on the spot!
1st Phone screener with HR person. Mostly the average common questions. They were very easy to answer. The interviewer was looking to hear about past experiences and future goals. Asked a couple behavioral questions, as well.
