Powens interview questions

I applied to a position, They replied. We had an interview with the HR where she explained their company structure and asked me general questions. Then she mentionned the salary range which was obviously lower than what the position entails. She said they are open to offer more and I said, OK let's negotiate it later. A week later, they emailed me saying that my profile doesn't even fit the position. A bit of a waste of time for everyone honestly.
