Within two weeks of applying I was invited to a 30 minute on-line interview. At the interview were two senior members and a junior member.
While the discussion with the senior colleagues went very smoothly, and we had a good understanding of each other and the job requirements, the junior member kept cutting us off to "remind us" we had to "move on". I also saw a growing level of discontent on this junior's face as the interview went on.
At the 30-minute mark, the junior abruptly told us the allotted time for the meeting was up and went off-line without saying anything further (i.e., "Thank you for coming and nice meeting you but sorry I have to go now"). The two seniors and I stayed behind and went on for another 30 minute on the various aspects of the job and their other project in general before properly parting our ways.
To be honest I was perplexed by the behavior of the junior person (I could think of a reason why), and the seniors found it acceptable for him to act this way during an interview. I was rejected, but after meeting this junior member (even on-line) I don't think I would want to work in that team.
Technically the questions were along the line of "can you do this / that." In this aspect I didn't have any problems.
