I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Positive Coaching Alliance
Interview
Very extensive process for below market compensation. Way too many parties are on interview calls making them feel more like target practice than an interactive discussion. Condescending behaviors and little to no time for the candidate to speak before the next person is firing away. They were unable to answer basic questions related to their requirements.
I applied online. I interviewed at Positive Coaching Alliance (Seattle, WA) in Dec 2016
Interview
The first rounds seemed standard. The final round was a weird "bring the finalists together" round. It was clear I was the "check off the box" female added to the group. I did interview 3.5 years ago, but someone mentioned this organization to me recently. I was disappointed to see that the supervisor had progressed through the company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked if I had children and if I plan on having children by who would have been my direct supervisor. I do not think the male candidates were asked the same question. My fault, but I chose not to tell the HR rep because I would not in any way want to be associated with someone who at the level he was at could not understand what was legal and illegal to ask.
I was able to get an interview because of a connection that my college mentor had with the executives at PCA. I went to the office and sat with both of the executives (they were the only ones working in the office full-time) and they asked questions about my work experience and my experiences as a Division 1 athlete.
