The interview process was very informal and low-stress. It started with a conversation with the CTO and founder, who seemed like a genuinely good person and was easy to talk to.
Following the initial discussion, there was a technical interview that included a coding exercise. The technical portion wasn't particularly difficult; both the discussion and the coding exercise were heavily focused on solving practical, real-world problems.
However, I strongly advise against investing significant time or extra effort into this process. Ultimately, the company completely ghosted me—providing no communication regarding my status and zero feedback. At times, the technical assessment felt less like a genuine evaluation of my abilities and more like an attempt to get free consulting to solve their ongoing business issues. Furthermore, when I checked the job posting history on the Wayback Machine, I discovered that this role (or a slight variation of it) has been posted continuously for over five years. This left me wondering if this was a fake job opportunity or if the company simply experiences massive turnover.
