Generally 3-4 rounds. First round is HR screen (1 hr) to understand interests, past work, salary expectations. Second round is with Engineering managers to know about the role and your pay experience and tech stack. Third is a 1 hour technical and behavioural round to know your past experience with snowflake and AWS followed by two small SQL questions.

When do you spin up additional clusters for snowflake? When do you use AWS Glue and Kinesis Kafka? How do u optimize PySpark code or diagnose slow jobs? What is difference between Hadoop/Hive and Snowflake?
Given three relational SQL tables, provide the SQL code to find the user with the highest X amount of something. Follow up question is using Window Functions but cal also solve with CTEs.
Completed an initial phone interview with the recruiter, who provided an overview of the role, responsibilities, expectations, and hiring process. We discussed my research background, motivation for pursuing the position, anticipated start date, work authorization status, relocation plans, and how my experience aligns with the company's R&D objectives.
Very thorough and included competency verifications. Asked a lot about previous experiences with CAPA and RCA. Training was a big focus too. 3rd party audit requirements were also a focus
