I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Planning Center in Mar 2022
Interview
The first interview was strictly behavioral with the head of engineering. He was very kind and just seemed to want to get to know you and your journey into coding. He was very welcoming. The second portion was a coding challenge through Codility. There were 3 problems: React, Ruby, and Rails. For the Ruby one, you were able to choose either Ruby orJavascript. Then there was the technical interview where I didn't perform the best so I didn't get the job, however they were very kind and helpful. It was with 2-3 engineers: frontend, backend, and manager. They were all very kind and makes you really want to work with them. I was tested on a Ruby problem, but I was nervous and just let it get to me. But it wasn't too difficult.

Question 1
Describe your final project during bootcamp, including the technology used, and why you created that project and why you chose that technology.
Thank you for the honest feedback about your experience with our hiring team. I am dissatisfied with our process requiring 4+ weeks of your time and attention. It feels too slow internally. Reading your review, I understand that it likely feels worse from a candidate's perspective.
I don't want anyone else to have the negative experience you had. The timeline from application to offer is one of the things I will be actively monitoring in our next round of hiring. We need to keep things moving at a steadier clip.
