I interviewed for the Digital Engagement Coordinator position at Pizza Hut Corporate in Plano, TX. I'm writing to share what I feel has been a frustrating and disingenuous interview process with the Hiring Manager and one of the recruiters
The Hiring Manager was wholly unengaged during our interview. At one point began a conversation with a coworker while I was answering a question before returning to our call and promptly ending it before asking if I had any questions about the position.
The first recruiter (who was wonderful, said I was a great fit and offered to match any offer I got before meeting with hiring manager--and then she promptly left the company) passed me on to Second Recruiter post-interview, who did not respond to my emails for feedback/next steps until 3 emails were sent. Almost a full month later she replied.
I finally received feedback from Second Recruiter (who did not acknowledge or apologize for not responding to my previous emails) that my interview was "nice," again a full month later despite being told by Hiring Manager she would let me know within a week's time.
The kicker to all this? Second Recruiter says they are only considering internal candidates currently, which I was never told. Next day, the position is re-listed on Indeed and LinkedIn.
Don't waste your time interviewing with Pizza Hut Corporate.
