This whole process was insane, unreasonable, and really made me feel like if I worked at PPS I'd be treated poorly.
First interview was bananas. The recruiter, a couple people from HR, the hiring manager, and I think someone else on the team was on the call. I had no warning; I'd expected a normal 15 minute conversation with a recruiter. The recruiter said "Hello, there will be no time to ask questions. We have 10 minutes. I'll ask you three questions. Please keep the time to 3 minutes or so." Each of the questions had about 15 parts to them. They seemed impressed, and the recruiter called me on the phone an hour later to schedule the second interview.
Second interview was only SLIGHTLY less insane: I asked the recruiter ahead of time who would be there, but she never told me. So I entered the call anyway. The recruiter was, again, asking all the questions. The hiring manager was there, as were a couple senior admins. Each question, again, had at least 10 parts each. It was very difficult to comprehend the question, think about an answer, and deliver it coherently. Eventually the recruiter put the question in the chat because she and I were so annoyed with me asking repeatedly "can you repeat the question?".
I didn't hear back, so I sent a follow up a week or so later. They said I was still in the running and they'd get back to me. Then they ghosted me entirely.
This organization comes off as looking to punish or demean relatively highly paid central office employees. I'm not interested nor that desperate. I've been out of work for some time now, and if by some miracle they came back to me I'd tell them to pound sand. I know I could probably be identified by this review, and I 100% do not care.
